Synergy Health Services adheres to the highest pharmacy standards and guidelines. This is shown through our association with the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP) and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP).
The International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP) is an association representing more than 4,000 pharmacists, technicians, students, and members of the compounding community who focus upon the specialty practice of pharmacy compounding. Compounding pharmacists work directly with prescribers, including physicians, nurse practitioners and veterinarians, to create customized medication solutions for both human and non-human patients whose healthcare needs cannot be met by manufactured medications.
In addition, more than 164,000 patients and prescribers also belong to our organization via the grassroots advocacy group, P2C2 (Patients and Professionals for Customized Care).
IACP’s mission of protecting, promoting and advancing personalized medication solutions is critical for patient healthcare.
Founded in 1904, the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) aims to ensure the public’s health and safety through its pharmacist license transfer and pharmacist competence assessment programs, as well as through its VIPPS, VAWD, and DMEPOS accreditation programs.
NABP’s member boards of pharmacy are grouped into eight districts that include all 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Australia, Bahamas, nine Canadian provinces, and New Zealand. The Association is governed by its Executive Committee, whose officers and members are elected during the Association’s Annual Meeting.
NABP mission is the independent, international, and impartial association that assists its member boards and jurisdictions for the purpose of protecting the public health.
NABP’s vision statement is Innovating and collaborating today for a safer public health tomorrow.
